Newman, Minnie (24 MAR 1899 - 13 JUN 1987)
Unity - Former Unity resident, Minnie C. Newman, 88, Colonial House Living Center, Colby, died at 1:40 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Riplinger with the Rev. David Ault officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the Rux Funeral Home, Colby.
She was born March 24, 1899, in the Town of Unity to William and Emelie Domer and attended Sunshine School there.
She married Bernhard Newman Jan. 2, 1929 at her home in the Town of Unity. She worked a the Riplinger store for many years, then she and her husband moved to the Town of Unity, retiring in 1970. Mrs. Newman died April 9, 1985.
She was a member of St. John's church ant its Ladies Aide.
Surviving are a son Donald of Unity, a brother William Domer of Abbotsford, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, four brothers and three sisters.
