Korenkewicz, Joseph (5 March 1916 - 9 May 1974)

Owen - The Rev. George A. Becker, pastor of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, conducted services at 10:30 a.m. today (Monday) at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home for Joseph Korenkewicz, 58, route 1, Owen, who died at 6:45 p.m. Friday at his home.

A preliminary report of an autopsy performed at Marshfield at the request of Robert Lulloff, Clark County Coroner, indicated that death was the result of a heart ailment.

Burial was made in the Withee Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Korenkewicz was born March 5, 1916, in Chicago, where he attended grade school, and lived in the Chicago area for 48 years. For the past 10 years he had been making his home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Korenkewicz on route 1, Owen, Wis.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Arthur, Delton, Ill.; Robert, Cedar Lake, Ind.; and Donald, Owen; and three sisters, Mrs. Corliss (Irene) Adams, Fort Worth, Texas; and Mrs. Clyde (Lucille) Armspiger, Miami, Fla.; and Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Jankowski, Chippewa Falls.
