Northup, Mabel (1 Oct. 1884 - 15 Jan. 1964)
Neillsville: services will be held at the Georgas Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday for Mrs. Mabel Northup, 79, route 1, Neillsville, who died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. The Rev. W. C. Koehler, pastor of the United Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Georgas Funeral Home on Fifth St. today.
The former Mabel Gault was born Oct. 1, 1884, in Dodge County, and was educated there. She came with her parents to Clark County in 1898, locating on a farm in the town of Grant which had been her home since that time. She was married to Percy L. Northup on June 3, 1908, at Neillsville, and the couple farmed in the town of Grant. After the death of her husband on June 21, 1956, she made her home with a son, Raymond.
In addition to her son, Raymond, Mrs. Northup is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Amber) Karl, Neillsville; a brother, Forrest Gault, Neillsville and three grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie and Mancie, and four brothers, Steward, Jason, Merril and Edward Gault.
Mrs. Mabel Northup was a member of Golden Link Number 78, Royal Neighbors of America
