Sischo, Carl (23 JUL 1893 - 6 AUG 1975)

LOYAL, Clark Co., Wis. - Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Carl Sischo, 82, of 301 E. Central St., Loyal. He died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Neillsville Memorial Nursing Home.

The Rev. William Humlie, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Loyal Cemetery.

Visitations may be made at the Rinka Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of services.

Mr. Sischo was born July 23, 1893 in Pierce Co., Wis. and received his education at the Lincoln Schools in the town of Loyal. He farmed north of Loyal and also in the town of York, Clark Co., from 1921 to 1958. Since 1958, he had been living in retirement in the city of Loyal.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving from May 27, 1918 to Jan. 8, 1919. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and an honorary member of the Loyal American Legion.

Mr. Sischo married the former Leona Kronberger on July 23, 1918, at Loyal. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1968. His wife died July 3, 1974.

Survivors include a son, Robert, Loyal; three brothers, Floyd and Harold, both of Michigan City, Ind., and Raymond, Trenary, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Strangfeld, Neillsville Memorial Home; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-step-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his wife, were two brothers and three sisters.
