Mrs. Edward Bowser passed away at her home, at 8:00 o’clock Wednesday morning, Nov. 22nd, 1911, after an illness of three weeks with typhoid fever, aged 44 years, 5 months and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her sad and early death, her husband, who is seriously ill with the same disease, and two little daughters, and the tender sympathies of this entire community goes out to this mourning household. The data for an obituary is not obtainable in time for this weed.

The funeral will be held from St. Mary’s Church, Friday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by Rev. H.J. Artmann.

Mrs. Edward Bowser died at her home in Colby, Clark Co., Wis., at 8:00 Wednesday morning, Nov. 22nd, 1911, after an illness with typhoid fever.

Mrs. Bowser, who maiden name was Eleanor Hughes, was born in the town of Mitchel, Sheboygan Co., Wis., June 14th, 1867. She was married to Edward Bowser, in St. Mary’s Church at Cascade, Sheboygan Co., Oct. 30th, 1900, and had since made Colby her home.

Thus has passed from out midst a loving wife and mother who for eleven years has lived among us and was highly respected by her friends and neighbors. A husband, two little daughters and an adopted son, besides her aged mother, brothers and sisters, survive to mourn her early death.

Impressive funeral services were held at St. Mary’s Church, Friday morning at ten o’clock, conducted by Rev. H.J. Artmann, assisted by Rev. Wm. Reding of Grand Rapids, after which all that was mortal of this wife and mother was tenderly conveyed to our Silent City, where the interment took place.

The relatives from out of town who were here to attend the funeral, were Miss Mary Hughes, Jack Hughes, Manley Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bowser, of Mitchel, and M. Crosby of Plymouth.
