Finder, William Fred (7 March 1891 - 21 Nov. 1962)

W. F. Finder Is Dead at Age 71

Neillsville - Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Georgas Funeral Home here for William F. Finder, 71, of Neillsville, who died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Burial will take place in the Neillsville cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of the services.

William Fred Finder was born on March 7, 1891, in Dane County. He came to Clark County with his parents in 1903 and located on a farm in the town of Weston. He was educated there, and on April 29, 1918, he entered the armed forces in World War I. He was stationed at Camp Bowie, Texas. He was discharged there on Dec. 5, 1918, and returned to Neillsville where he had worked in saw mills and on farms.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Meske, Celia Finder and Bertha Finder, all of Neillsville; two brothers, Fred and August, Neillsville, Wis.

Two brothers, Mike and Louie, preceded him in death.
