Safemaster, Judith Eileen (8 MAY 1971)

A Saturday evening ceremony May 8, 1971 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), united in marriage Miss Judith Eileen Safemaster and Lyle Howard Krueger.

Rev. Robert Sutherland officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Ansel Messer, organist, and congregational singing.

The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lester Safemaster, Route 1, Unity. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Krueger, Route 1, Colby.

Given in marriage by her father, Judith was attired in a floor length Chantilly gown with Chantilly lace over white satin, the bridal illusion veil fell from a laced bow headpiece. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

The maid of honor, Miss Sharon Delo, Loyal, wore a blue A-line gown and carried blue roses and white carnations. The bridesmaids, Miss Faye Krueger, Colby, and Mrs. Mary Krueger, Abbotsford, wore dresses similar to the maid of honor in yellow and pink, and carried flowers to match their dresses.

Glen Weiler, Colby, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kenneth Hackel, Colby, and Russell Krueger, Abbotsford. Dennis Safemaster of Unity and Allen Krueger of Colby performed the ushering duties.

A reception and dance at Unity Memorial Hall following the ceremony.

Mrs. Krueger is a 1969 graduate of Colby High School and is employed at Land O'Lakes in Spencer. Her husband is a 1964 Colby High School graduate. He is engaged in farming.

Following a wedding trip to western Wisconsin the couple will be at home at Route 1, Colby.
