Hamann, Charles (20 MAY 1864 - 6 NOV 1912)

Mrs. John Eggebrecht and Mrs. Herman Rahn of the town of Frankfort, Marathon Co., Wis., were in the city this morning and informed us that their brother, Charles Hamann of the town of Wein, Marathon Co., had died at the hospital in Marshfield, on Wednesday evening, following an operation for dropsy and kidney trouble. He was taken to the hospital from his home a week ago last Tuesday and the operation was performed by Dr. Doege on Monday.

Charley Hamann was born in the town of Wein on the 20th of May, 1864, and made that town his home up to his death, being one of the prosperous farmers of the town.

The remains were taken to his home, Thursday, and the funeral will be held on Saturday.
