Woepse, Evelyn (13 MAY 1936)

A very pretty wedding took place at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Woepse when their youngest daughter Evelyn was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. George Kuester. The Rev. Pfeiffer tied the nuptial knot at about 2 o’clock in the presence of immediate relatives and friends.

The bride wore a dress of white satin with a lace jacket and she wore a headband and carried a bouquet of carnations and sweet peas. The groom wore a suit of dark blue.

The attendants were Miss Almira Horn, niece of the bride who wore blue organdy and carried carnations; and Irvin Kuester, brother of the groom, who wore a dark brown suit.

About thirty relatives and friends attended the dinner and reception at the home, following the ceremony. At about 12 o’clock midnight the bride cut the wedding cake.

Mr. and Mrs. Kuester left the next morning on their wedding trip for a week to Milwaukee and Sheboygan.

On their return they will be at home with the bride’s parents on the farm in the town of Warner.

Both the bride and groom are well known in this vicinity and they need no introduction. The groom is a graduate of Greenwood High School.

We wish Mr. and Mrs. Kuester a long and happy wedded life.
