Prock, Lucille (Marriage - 7 Nov. 1936)

The marriage of Miss Lucille Prock of Greenwood, to James McConnell, Jr., town of Eaton, took place at St. Mary’s parsonage Nov. 7 at 4:30 p.m., Rev. Harding performing the single ring ceremony.

Miss Prock, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock of Globe, graduated from the Neillsville high school in 1929 and after attending the State Teachers college at Milwaukee for a year entered the St. Claire School of Beauty Culture at Milwaukee from which she graduated in 1931. She has been operating the Lucille Beauty Shoppe at Greenwood. She is a most charming young lady whose high character and likeable personality have won her an exceptionally large circle for friends. The groom is the son of James McConnell, his mother being deceased. He graduated from the Greenwood High School in 1930 and is employed as a truck driver for John Wuetrich. He is regarded as a man of the utmost trustworthiness and industry.

The bride was attired in a brown tunic dress with brown accessories and the maid of honor Dolores Prock, sister of the bride, wore a green dress with brown accessories. Harold Prock, brother of the groom, was best man.

A wedding dinner to 50 guests was served at the home of the bride’s parents.

The young couple announces they will be home at Greenwood after November 15.
