Anderegg, Malinda (Marriage - 23 Nov. 1936)

Miss Malinda Anderegg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Anderegg of the town of York, was married Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. to John Sladek, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Sladek, Town of York, Rev. A. J. Aurit performing the ceremony at the Catholic parsonage.

The maids were Mrs. Mary Walters, sister of the bridegroom and Miss Caroline Anderegg, cousin of the bride. The bridegroom was attended by Louis Walter, brother-in-law, and Ervin Anderegg, brother of the bride, and Frankie Walter, nephew of the bridegroom.

The bride was very attractive in a gown of blue transparent velvet and carried a bouquet of white and lavender chrysanthemums. Both of the bride’s attendants were attired in wine colored dresses with white carnations pinned in their hair.

Dinner and supper were served to 70 guests at the home of the bride. The table was decorated with a large wedding cake. Cecil Dankemyer furnished music during the afternoon and evening.

Both bride and bridegroom are popular young people of the Town of York and have an unusually large circle of warm friends who join in wishing them man years of happiness.
