Mr. and Mrs. John Trogner and daughters, Jean and Elizabeth, of Neillsville, were Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Trogner’s sister, Mrs. Herman Dahnert, and family.
Robert Wucki is at home again from Madison.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Klein and son of Washburn attended the Bohemian Lodge meeting Sunday and called at the Peter Honzik home later.
Mr. and Mrs. Plachey of Pine Valley spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Honzik.
Stephen Tichy of Alma Center visited the home folks one day last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dobes spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Buddenhagen.
Helen Meiers has missed school most of the past week while entertaining the mumps.
Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Crockett spent Sunday evening at the Frank Schmidt home.
About 40 teams have been hauling gravel the past week on the east town line road and from the Struebing corner west for some distance.
Harry Hansen bought a horse from Paulson the past week.
If any readers are troubled with chill blains, let them try the simple remedy of applying vinegar and they are assured a speedy cure. Mrs. Evelyn Beardsley gave me this advice many years ago and it has been passed on with many thanks from suffers of this ailment.
The Bohemian Lodge are preparing another play, "Hearts and Diamonds." To be presented soon at the Levis Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. William Meyers spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Kaddatz.
Andrew Zimba is quite sick.
Mrs. Charles Matousek spent Monday with Mrs. Peter Honzik.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shramek received word Monday of the death of Mrs. Louis Cikanek of Black River Falls; death was due to heart trouble. Mrs. Cikanek had many friends in Neillsville and vicinity.
