Dan and Lorraine Fischer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday,
April 13, at the Jerkwater restaurant with their children, grandchildren and
special friends.
They were married at First United Church of Christ in Colby, officiated by Rev.
Ken Dix. The reception was held at the Cherokee hall, with guests dancing the
night away to polka music.
They farmed in Unity until retiring 17 years ago. They now reside in Colby. They
have six children and 10 grandchildren.
