Selves, Orvilla (Marriage - 20 June 1937)

At a ceremony performed Sunday, June 20th at 8 o’clock, at Sunset Point, Neillsville, Miss Orvilla Selves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Selves, and Mr. Earl Zille, son of Mr. Fred Zille of Fond du Lac, were united in marriage.

The bride and groom were attired in gray with white accessories. The bride wore a corsage of pink roses with forget-me-knots.

They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hintz of Marshfield, Gladys Selves and Norman Donyette of Minocqua.

The bridesmaids wore corsages made up a pink sweet peas and baby’s breath.

After the ceremony a lunch was served at the bride’s home. A large pink and white wedding cake adorned the table.

Immediately after the lunch the bridal couple and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hintz left for Waupaca where they visited until evening, and then leaving with a house trailer for a week in the northern woods, fishing and sight seeing.

Mr. and Mrs. Zille will be at home at 137 E. 9th St., after June 28th.

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and of the Neillsville Training School and has been engaged in teaching for the past eight years.

The groom is employed at the Van Gorden, elevator in Neillsville, Wis.
