White services to be held here Saturday.
Funeral services for a Pine Valley native, Mrs. Minnie A White, age 79, of Memorial Home, who died September 5, are to be held Saturday, September 9, 1972 at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Litzer of Calvary Lutheran Church will officiate and burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Friday morning.
Mrs. White, the daughter of Rudolph and Mary (Krenz) Spranger, was born December 21, 1892, in the Town of Pine Valley and was educated there. Her marriage to Charles White took place December 10, 1912, in Neillsville, Wis. The couple farmed for a time; when they moved into Neillsville, Mrs. White cooked for various clubs and organizations. In 1949, they moved to Jefferson and worked at the Jefferson County home. After his death in 1953, she spent some time in Neillsville and in Jefferson. Mrs. White, who was a member of the Royal Neighbors, had resided at Memorial Home for several months.
Survivors include a son, Warren White of El Monte, CA; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Ruth) York of R. 1 Neillsville, a sister, Mrs. Orville (Martha) Dimler of Marshfield; and five grandchildren.
