Davis, Hazel B. (Marriage - 22 Aug. 1937)

Miss Hazel B. Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Davis of N. Hewett St., was married to Irving L. Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Schultz of 107 S. Grand Ave., at Sunset Point, Aug. 22, in a single ring noon ceremony performed by Rev. G. W. Longenecker. Attendants were Minerva and Betty Davis, sisters of the bride, and Ellis Mortimer of York Center.

The bride attended Neillsville high school, and has been employed as a cook by A. C. Wagner and Sons Co., for some time. The groom is a lifetime resident here, and is employed by the city. The bride wore a blue and white crepe suit with blue cape and accessories and carried a bouquet of assorted flowers. The bridesmaid wore brown taffeta with green accessories.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was held in Schuster Park for 60 guests by the parents of the couple. The tables were arranged in cross form, and were decorated in pink and white with numerous baskets of flowers. The newlyweds are making their home at 120 Grand Ave. A pre-nuptial shower was held for Miss Davis Saturday afternoon by friends.

A charivari was held Monday, followed by lunch and presentation of an electric plate by city employees.
