Jonas Packard, a pioneer farmer residing north of Curtiss, Clark Co., Wis., died Monday at the age of 82 years, death being due to old age. The funeral, conducted by Undertaker E.J. Fuchsgruber of this village, was held Tuesday afternoon at Curtiss, Wis. (Dorchester Herald)
Mr. Packard was well known in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), making for many years an annual visit here to Dr. Freeman’s family. The Phonograph was always honored with a call from the old gentleman, when here, and we will miss his friendly handshake.
