Ludovic, Dorothy M. (Marriage – 23 May1975)

Dorothy M. Ludovic and Wilbert H. Henchen exchanged marriage vows Friday, May 23, in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony performed at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Norman Lindloff. A reception at the Neillsville American Legion Hall followed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cook, Rt. 2 Granton, and Mrs. Arnold Henchen, Rt. 1 Neillsville.

Presented in marriage by her son, Leroy L. Ludovic, the bride appeared in a gown of aqua polyester accented by a corsage of pink roses.

A red rose corsage complimented the dusty rose polyester gown worn by the matron of honor, Mrs. Theodore (Vahla) Pierce.

Earl Smith served as best man. Ushering duties were shared by James Henchen, Rt. 3 Neillsville, and Nicholas Ludovic, Kent, Ohio.

Soloist at the wedding was Linda Henchen, Marshfield. Sharon Weber was the organist.

Prenuptial events honoring the bride included a surprise coin shower given by the American Legion Auxiliary; a shower co-hostessed by Mrs. Vahla Pierce and mrs. Mildred Lawson at the Merchants Hotel, a homemakers and neighbors paper shoer at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Tews; and a VFW Auxiliary social gathering at the home of Mrs. Tom Flynn, where a joint gift was presented.

The new Mrs. Henchen is employed in the county veterans service office as the deputy veterans service office. Her husband is employed at a local manufacturing firm.

The newlyweds, who are living on Rt. 3 Neillsville, plan a wedding trip for 6 future date.
