Lussenden, Mrs. William (10 MAR 1857 - 3 JAN 1916)

Mrs. Wm. Lussenden, a resident of this community for the past two years, died at her home, Monday morning.

Mrs. Lussenden was born March 10, 1857, in Washington Co., this state. After spending some years in that county they moved on a farm in the town of Spencer, where they have resided up to the last two years. Mrs. Lussenden was well known in this city and her death will be mourned by many.

Those surviving her are her husband; George Lussenden of Wausau; Mrs. C. Ratecker of Watertown; Mrs. Frank Hildebrandt, Miss Marguerite, Arthur and Lester of this city. (Marshfield Times)

The Times is slightly mistaken. The Lussenden family moved from Washington Co. to Colby, and for many years resided on a farm near this city. They sold the property here and moved to the farm near Spencer. Her death came as a surprise to her old neighbors and friends. The funeral was held in Marshfield Wednesday.
