Lingren, Betty S. (1 Jan. 1947 – 11 Sept. 2005)

WITHEE - Betty S. Lindgren, 57, of 907 School Street, Withee, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005. at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at the Community Alliance Church in Withee. Inurnment will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

She was born Jan. 1, 1947, to Erkine Dennis Wages and Willie Maureen (Tennessee) Wages in Marks, Miss. She had been employed at Saint Joseph's Hospital of Marshfield as a surgical tech and later worked for many years at the Clark County Health Care Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She married Everett G. Lindgren on Jan. 9, 1982, at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Owen, Wis.

She is survived by her husband, Everett G. Lindgren; two daughters, Lisa (Charlie) Milliren and Kelly Dombrowski; two sons, Christopher (Shelly) Carpenter and Chad Carpenter; two stepdaughters, Cindy (Ken) Lindgren-Parnewicz and Pam (Bill) Rusch; two stepsons, Jeff (Michelle) Lindgren and Tim (Maya) Lindgren; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother, Dennis Wages; one sister, Martha Thomas; nieces and nephews; and stepfather, Merlin (Tex) Ritter.
