Fuller, Mary A. (7 AUG 1823 - 24 JAN 1917)

Mary Ann Erwin was born Aug. 7th, 1823, at Lisle, N.Y.

She was married in 1840 to Joseph Fuller of Madison, N.Y., at Kalamazoo, Mich., where a daughter, Emma Jane, now Mrs. A.W. Adams, was born. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fuller came to Genoa Jct., Wis., in 1843, and began their residence upon the farm which has been Mrs. Fuller’s home ever since, a period of 74 years. At this place eight other children were born, four boys and four girls. One boy and one girl of this number have died. Mrs. Fuller has lived in the present house for 60 years.

She has been a member of the Baptist Church of Richmond, which held services at Genoa Jct., in the Congregational Church, since she was baptized in the Nippersink 64 years ago.

She passed away from her earthly to her heavenly home on Jan. 24, 1917, at 6 o’clock p.m., at the age of 93 years, 5 months and 17 days. She leaves 90 descendents still living, 7 children, 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides this number of direct descendants, there still survive one sister and brother and numerous other relatives.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Congregational Church at Genoa Junction and she was laid to rest on the hill. Six of her grandsons acted as pallbearers.
