YORK

And still it rains, and everything is growing fast.

The evening of June 6th, Miss Cynthia Adams gave the young people a party, it being her birthday. They report a splendid time.

Miss Cora McAllester, G.V.T., lectured to a crowded house Sunday afternoon, and all seemed to be well pleased.

The ground is being cleared of brush and logs for the coming camp meeting, to begin Tuesday, June 24th.

J.H. Fisher has been on the sick list the past week, but is around again.

Miss Abbie Ide is reported to be on the gain. She was very sick with measles last week.

George Root expects to raise a frame barn next week. So the town improves.

Mr. William Turner is building himself a house.
