Obituary

William Wonser was born in Orleans County, N. Y. the 7th of January 1836.

He resided there and at Ashtabula, Ohio until 1848 when he removed, with his brother to Sheboygan County, WI., where he secured land and engaged in agriculture persuits (pursuits) until 1902, when he disposed of his large land holdings and removed to Unity where he resided until his death.

In 1860 he was united in marriage to Miss Delia Moore, also of Orleans County, N. Y., to them were born five children, Edgar of Sheboygan; Ernest of Granton; Mrs. Mae Oldenberg of Unity; Mrs. Maude Nonhoff of Granton; and Fred of the town of Unity, all of whom with their aged mother accompanied the remains to Sheboygan where they were tenderly laid to rest in Wildwood Cemetery near the scene of his life’s work.

The deceased was in every respect an ideal citizen and was always held in the highest esteem by his fellowmen. His death is an irreparable loss to his family and to the people oft this community.
