Lucht, Elaine (27 AUG 1936)

On Thursday, August 27th, at 6:00 P. M. Miss Elaine Lucht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lucht, Spokeville, became the bride of Mr. Harold Bertz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Bertz, Loyal.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Leschensky in the Lutheran parsonage.

The bride’s attendant was her sister Miss Ruth Lucht, and Mr. Dale Weyhmiller was the groom’s attendant. The ceremony was witnessed by the bridal party only.

Miss Lucht’s dress was of brown silk crepe in Tunic Style and Miss Ruth wore a tunic style dress of Rust silk crepe.

A reception following the ceremony was held at the home of the bride’s parents with 70 guests in attendance. Lunch was served at midnight.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Oestreich and two children were the out of town guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Bertz were the recipients of many beautiful wedding gifts.

The bride is an employee of the Lakeshire Cheese Co. and Wepfer Pharmacy.

The groom is in the stock-buying business. They have gone to housekeeping in their house recently purchased from Mrs. Nichols on the west side. Here they are at home to their friends.

The Tribune joins others in wishing "Pat" and Elaine a life of happiness.
