-Hantke, Rovella (Marriage - 5 Sept. 1938)

Miss Rovella Hantke of this city and Erland Quinn of Rice Lake were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in that city at 7 o’clock Monday morning.

After the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents, and the couple came to Neillsville to see her mother, who was unable to attend the wedding. From here, they journey on to the Twin Cities and plan to return late this week before going to Rice Lake where they will make their home.

The bride was beautifully attired in a white satin gown, wearing a finger-tip length veil and a lovely corsage. The groom was dressed in gray.

Mrs. Quinn was graduated from the Neillsville high school with the class of 1934 and for three years following, worked for the Lynn Insurance Company. Later she took a course in beauty culture at Eau Claire and will continue in this profession at Rice Lake. She is a talented musician popular and charming in manner.

The groom is highly spoken of in his home community and made a fine impression upon the Neillsville people who met him. He is a clerk in a store at Rice Lake.

Her aunt, Mrs. Dewey Zittleman, and husband, and her sister, Miss Marian Hantke, Misses Nell Hartson and Vivian Winter were in attendance at the wedding, driving up Sunday night.

With the host of friends who extend congratulations and best wishes the Press most heartily joins.
