Pralquske, Genevieve (28 JAN 1931)

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Anthony’s Church, Cicero, Ill., at 1 p.m., Jan. 28, 1931, when Genevieve, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pralquske, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Mr. Gedmon Mikolainis. Father Vaicunas performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a long white satin dress and a long tulle veil and carried a bouquet of white roses, lilies, and lilies of the valley.

The maid of honor, Mildred, sister of the groom, wore a peach colored dress with hat to match and carried a bouquet of tea roses. The bridesmaid, Bertha, also a sister of the groom, wore a blue taffeta dress and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The bride was accompanied by two little flower girls, dressed in yellow, one carrying a basket of yellow roses, and the other the pillow.

The ushers were John Pralquske, brother of the bride, and Stephen Giecewicz, cousin of the groom. They wore the conventional dress suits.

Immediately after the ceremony, a reception was held at the St. Anthony Hall for friends and relatives.

The couple left for a short trip, stopping at Rockford, Ill. and Beloit, Wis.

Everyone is wishing them a happy and long wedded life. The newlyweds will make their home at 1411 So. 49 St., Cicero, Ill.
