Hohl, Luella H. (22 JUL 1911 - 23 AUG 2006)

Luella H. Hohl, 95, Marshfield, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006. Family members will attend a memorial service for her at a later date.

Luella H. Cline was born on July 22, 1911, in Hopkinton, Iowa, to George and Gladys Cline. She married Fred Hohl on Jan. 16, 1932. They lived most of their married life in Greenwood where they had the business, Hohl Brothers Nash. She worked for many years as a nursing assistant at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. She has been a true inspiration to the people in her life.

Survivors include her two daughters, Gladys (Bob) Bartlet, Marshfield, and Nancy (Don) Ellingson, LaCrosse; six grandchildren, James (Sue) Bartelt, Jane Davis, Anne (Thom) Clement, Laurie Schindler, Tom (Kay) Ellingson, and Richard (Lisa) Hohl; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Anita Heck.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Fred Hohl; two sons, David Hohl and Edwin Hohl; and a granddaughter, Mary Ellingson DuBois.

Memorials may be given in her name to The Salvation Army.
