Francis, Olive (Marriage - 10 Nov. 1938)

Miss Olive Francis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Francis of Greenwood and Russell Buettner, Greenwood, son of the William F. Buettner, Christie were united in marriage Thursday afternoon November 10, at 3 o’clock at a simple ceremony at the parsonage of the Methodist church in Greenwood. The Rev. C. R. Gaylord read the service.

The bride was attired in a dark blue street costume and wore a corsage of white chrysanthemums. The couple’s attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Beuttner, Greenwood. Mrs. Buettner, sister of the bride, wore a dark blue street dress and corsage similar to the bride’s. Mr. Beuttner is a brother of the groom. Supper was served to immediate relatives after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.

The couple will make their home in Greenwood where the groom is employed as truck driver.
