Crain, Lucille B. (13 FEB 1909 - 21 JUN 1932)

Lucille Bessie Crain, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Crain, was born on February 13th, 1909 at Randolph, Wis. At the age of three years she moved to Dumont, Minn., with her parents. In the year of 1919 she returned to Wisconsin in company with her parents. For thirteen years she has been an invalid, and for the past four and a half years she has been an inmate of the Northern Wisconsin Colony and Farming School at Chippewa Falls. It was there she died on June 21st, at the age of 23 years, 4 months and 8 days, from pleural pneumonia. She leaves to mourn her loss, her parents, and a number of relatives and friends.

The funeral service was held at the home of her parents at Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.) on Friday, June 24th at 9 o’clock a.m., and was conducted by the Rev. Jas. Irish of Thorp. The body was afterwards taken to Mirror Lake, Wis. for burial.
