Trumbull, Josephine (3 Jan. 1880 - 21 Jan. 1939

Josephine Jacklin Trumbull daughter of John and Mary **Trumbull, was born in the town of Weston January 3, 1888, and departed this life at 7:45 Saturday morning, January 21, 1939. Her sudden death took place at her home in Blue Island, Ill. Her age was 59 years and 18 days.

The departed was united in marriage with Harry E. Trumbull in Chicago September 7, 1910. The family lived in Blue Island for the last 22 years.

She was a member of the St. Paul’s Evangelical and Reformed Church of Blue Island, and also of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Switchman’s Union of the North America, and of the Ladies Society of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Vivian) Egbert, and one grandson, Charles Leroy, all of Blue Island, one brother, Ellis Jacklin, Christie, and three sisters, Mrs. John Seif of the town of Seif, Mrs. Bertha Thompson and Mrs. Lu Gardia Farning of Neillsville, Wis.

She was preceded in death by one son, Raymond, by her parents, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 7 o’clock Monday evening, January 23, at Blue Island, Rev. B. F. Freese officiating, and at 1 p.m. from the Lowe Funeral home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. W. M. Bixler officiating. Burial took place in the Weston Cemetery.
