Shereda, Bobbette (14 JAN 1933)

The marriage of Miss Bobbette Shereda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. F. Shereda of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), to Walter Meyer of Milwaukee, took place Saturday, Jan. 14, at Milwaukee. The ceremony being performed by the Dr. Stencell, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, at the home of Mrs. C.E. Back, 719 North 21st St., at five o’clock in the afternoon.

The young couple were attended by Frank Bonn, a friend of the groom, and Miss Emily Back, niece of the groom. Only immediate relatives of the contracting parties being present.

Miss Shereda was one of Owen’s popular young ladies, moving in the social class. She was a graduate of the Owen High School, class of 1930. The following year she attended the normal school at Eau Claire and last fall began studying at Miss Brown’s School of Business, Milwaukee. She is a young lady of refinement, well liked by those with whom she has made acquaintance, and will make a good helpmate to her husband.

Those from out of town attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. V.F. Shereda, Owen, Mr. and Mrs. V.O.B. Lovell, Madison. The young couple have the best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
