Gerald C. Felton

Gerald Clinton Felton, 62, Owen, died Wednesday Sept. 20, 2006, at his home. Funeral services were held Sept 23, at United Church of Christ, Owen, Wis. The Rev. Mark Schwinn presided. Pallbearers were Robert Miller, Bill Rahn, Ken Fennewald, Curtis Fennewald, David Fennewald and Clinton Fennewald. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

He was born May 7, 1944, in St. Mary’s, PA to Clinton C. and Clara M. (McGoey) Felton. He graduated from Central Cambria High School in 1962. He received an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Mr. Felton served his country during the Viet Nam War and the U.S. Navy for seven years. He worked for AT&T until retiring early in 1998. He enjoyed model railroads, writing political limericks and going to auctions.

Mr. Felton and Constance Buchholz-Galvin were married Oct. 10, 1981, at Lake Mills. He is survived by his wife, Conni Felton, Owen; his daughters, Wendy (Bill) Rahn, Freisland, and Heather (Sedrick) Powell, Roseville, MN.; seven grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Eileen) Felton, Hagerstown, MD; and a sister, Mary Ann Waltz, Harrisburg, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter; Christina (Richard) Ginsterblum; and a grandson, Isaac Ginsterblum.
