Bomback, Eva D. (8 NOV 1926 - 15 SEP 2006)

Eva D. Bomback, 79, died at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at the Rush-Copley Hospital, Aurora. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood. The Rev. Wendell Williams officiated. Burial followed in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandchildren.

Eva Delaine Orsburn was born on Nov. 8, 1926, to Bud and Ruth (nee Thomas) Orsburn. She received her education at Kippenhan School, rural Greenwood. She married Eugene Bomback on Nov. 9, 1946, at Grace United Methodist Church, Greenwood. Following their marriage, the couple resided in Wisconsin and Indiana before settling in Aurora. She worked at Simpson Electric, Aurora, for many years. She loved music and played the guitar and harmonica. She wrote and recorded her own songs. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She will sadly missed by her husband of 59 years, Eugene Bomback; her daughters, Gloria (Gene) Noack, Rock Falls, Ill., and Diane (Don) Ladenberger, Geneva, Ill.; her grandchildren, Laurie (Daniel) Villarreal, Erin (Dave) Anderson, Amy (Ed) Stephens, Greg Noack, Kent Ladenberger, Jeff (Megan) Noack, Erick Noack, Andrew (Judith) Ladenberger, and April Ladenberger; her great-grandchildren, Jamie, Kelly, Aubrey, Keaton, Declan, and Jack; and her brother, Bernard (Pearl) Orsburn, Withee.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Felix Auman.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family the family with arrangements.
