Krupa, Iolene (January 4, 1922 - April 27, 2004)

Iolene Krupa, age 82, of Gilman, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, Funeral services were held on Monday, May 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley, WI, Father Robert Nelson officiated. Visitation was held on Monday, May 3, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. before the time of service.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cameron, WI.

Iolene was born January 4, 1922 in Gutenberg, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Eggerth) Morarend. She attended area schools and grew up in Iowa. She was united in marriage to Louis Krupa on June 12, 1939 in Elkader, Iowa. They then lived and farmed in the Town of Aurora, rural Gilman, WI for over 65 years.

She is survived by two daughters: Katherine J. (Robert) Poirier of Chetek, WI and Rita M. (Robert) Wood of Plant City, FL; four grandchildren: Kimberly Ann Dzimiela of Chetek, WI, Sandy Lynn Burrell of seven Lakes, NC, Kenneth Shawn Wertz of Turtle Lake, WI, and Ginger of Plant City, FL and six great-grandchildren: Jesse, Tanya, Zachary, Dustin, Maddie and Connor. She is also survived by sisters Violet (Bernard) Knapp of Gilman, WI, Janice (Gerald) Lang of Minneapolis, MN and Kathleen Cole of Belvedere, IL and one brother Harvey Morarend of Gilman, WI and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Iolene enjoyed spending her time doing different hobbies and crafts.
