They then moved onto a farm a mile north of Alma Center (Jackson Co., Wis.), where they lived a number of years. They retired from the task of country life to make their home with their daughter, Mrs. Mary Billerbeck in Altoona. For the past nine years she has made her home with her son, Lewis. Her husband was taken to the Great Beyond on Dec. 25, 1924, at the advanced age of 83 years and 8 days.

Mrs. Lang is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sophia Holverson of Bangor and Mrs. Mary Billerbeck of Altoona; and three sons, John of Altoona, William of Rice Lake, and Lewis of West Salem.

The funeral was held Sunday morning at 9:00 o’clock at the house, Rev. Paustian of the German Lutheran Church in Barre Mills officiating. The remains were brought here and burial was made in the Houghtonburg Cemetery, Rev. A.E. Knaak officiating at the grave.
