Unity Physicians Married

Drs J. H. Clark and C. J. Heath Succumb to the Wiles of Cupid and Both Take Brides on the Same Day

It seldom occurs in the course of events that a village has the distinction of having both of its physicians married on the same day, but Unity now lays claim to that distinction and popularity of the interested parties she is proud to be so distinguished.

Dr. James H. Clark was united in marriage to Miss Harriett R. Hayward of Spencer, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Hayward, the Rev. C. M. Christiansen officiating.

Only relatives and a few very intimate friends being present. After the ceremony a sumptuous wedding dinner was served after which the bride and groom were brought to their pleasant home in this village where they will be at home to their many friends.

The bride has been a resident of Spencer for many years and is a cultured and highly educated young lady and for the past several years has been a successful teacher in the schools of the state. She is regarded with high esteem by a large circle of admiring friends.

Dr. Clark is too well and favorably known to need any words of eulogy, having carried on a successful practice of medicine here for the past twenty years, his success as a physician and his high standard as a citizen has made his name a household word. He retired from active practice during the past summer and will devote his time in the future to his drug store.

The people of Unity unite in welcoming Dr. Clark and his bride to their midst.
