Mohl, Karoline (9 OCT 1928)

The home of Mr. and Mrs. G.R. King was the scene of a happy October wedding Tuesday, Oct. 9th, 1928, when their son, Paul I. King, and Miss Karoline Mohl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Mohl, of Kleinengstingen, Wurttemberg, Germany, were united in holy wedlock. The ceremony was performed at high noon by the Rev. Paul Buck of Grace Lutheran Church, Fairchild (Eau Claire Co., Wis.). Attending the bride and groom were Miss Sophia Schlegel and Mr. August Schlegel, cousins of the bride. After the vows were pledged, the party partook of a dainty wedding dinner, and then Mr. King and bride left on a honeymoon trip to Minneapolis, to be guests for a few days at the home of his sister, Mrs. C.S. Gordon. They expect to return the last of this week.

Mrs. King is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Schlegel of Alma Center and was employed until recently in the hotel at Merrillan. She is an accomplished young lady who will be welcomed to our midst. The groom is one of the well known young men of our village, whose many friends extend heartiest congratulations.

Mr. and Mrs. King will make their home with his parents in this village.
