The marriage of Miss Gladys Giebel and Mr. Clarence L. Field took place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Wm. A two course wedding dinner was served at 6 o’clock. After which the ladies from Humbird gave the couple a serenade and a shower of many beautiful and useful presents, after which their friends gave them a charivari. The young couple left early Wednesday morning for a short honeymoon to Chippewa Falls, Loganville, Wonewoc, Junction City and Chili, expecting to return in about a week.
