Emma H. Larsen

NEILLSVILLE -- Emma Helen Larsen, 96, of Neillsville, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville, Wis.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, Wis. Interment will be in Neillsville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis.

She was born Jan. 16, 1910, in Cottonwood, S.D., the daughter of Howard and Bertha (Seese) Fees. She was united in marriage to Soren Larsen at the United Church of Christ in Cottonwood. He preceded her in death. In 1942, they bought a small farm near Neillsville, Wis. In 1960, they owned and operated Larsen's Lakeside Bar. They sold the bar in 1966 and retired.

Surviving is her daughter, Betty (Don) Schultz, Greenwood; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
