Whitlinger, Charles (1859 - 12 April 1907)

Charles Whitlinger, a prosperous farmer of the town of Beaver, Clark county was taken ill Tuesday, April 9th with pneumonia and on Friday morning April 12th he passed to that great beyond. The news of his death came as a shock to his many friends who was not aware of his sickness.

The deceased was but 48 years old and leaves besides his wife, nine children to mourn his departure.

Charlie,as he was familiarly known was upright and honorable in all his dealings and was highly respected by all who knew him.

During his residence in Beaver he made many friends who mourn with his family, the loss of a kind indulgent husband and father and a true friend.

The funeral was held from the Beaver church Monday afternoon and the remains interred in Beaver cemetery.
