Waters, James (Aug. 25, 1848 - Mar. 2, 1932)
James Waters died about 5:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, after being confined to his bed but a few days with flu and pneumonia. Wednesday afternoon he was about town, and spent an hour or more visiting at his office, which he frequently did since his son, Willard E. Waters, has been engaged with the insurance company in Madison. Saturday morning he was unable to leave his bed. He grew gradually worse until death came peacefully at the hour noted.
The funeral services will be held under Masonic rites at the town hall at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Mentor cemetery.
