Johnson, Bessie J. (21 JUN 1911)

Morris R. Anderson and Miss Bessie Julia Johnson were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Johnson northeast of the city (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.), Wednesday, June 21st, at seven o’clock in the evening. Rev. A.B. Dyre performed the ceremony.

Only relatives and friends of the contracting parties were present.

The bride was attractively attired in a gown of light yellow messaline silk and was attended by her sister, Miss Cora Johnson. The groom was dressed in conventional black and was attended by his brother, Albert Anderson.

The Johnson home was very prettily decorated by the occasion with flowers, mostly roses.

After the ceremony the guests sat down to a bountiful wedding supper.
