Benish, Joseph G. (1891? - 1932)

Joseph G. Benish, whose death occurred at his home on the farm west of this village, on Thursday, May 5, after a long illness, was buried from the Sacred Heart church at Eau Claire at 8:30 last Monday morning, Rev. Fr. Orthen officiated. Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery where his parents repose. Services were held at the home late Sunday afternoon, and the remains taken to the home of his aunt, Mrs. J. Benish, in Eau Claire. Deceased was in his 41st year.

Surviving are five sisters: Sister Emily, of La Crosse; Mrs. Bernard Sieger, of Kansas City; Mrs. Mary Babier, of Madison; Mrs. Wm. Lubinski, of Fairchild; and Miss Tillie, at home. All were present at the burial.

Mr. Benish had many friends throughout this vicinity who mourn with the relatives at this time.
