Russell, Helene Ruth (Marriage - June 1932)

Thursday forenoon the Methodist parsonage at Alma Center was the scene of a happy June wedding, when Miss Helene Ruth Russell became the bride of Mr. Archie F. Nelson. The bridal pary then returned to the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. S. R. Newton, to partake of the wedding dinner, and midafternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson left on a honeymoon trip to the lake district of northern Minnesota.

After their return they will be at home to friends on the farm six miles north of Taylor, which the groom operates in partnership with his father.

The groom is a well known and well-liked young man of his home vicinity and has made an outstanding success in his occupation.

Mrs. Nelson has been a successful teacher in the rural school of Jackson county for the past few years. She is an alumnus of the local high school and an accomplished young lady.

Many friends of these young people extend best wishes to them on life’s journey.
