Seif & Hendren - Mrs. Frank Lakea

Mrs. Svetnika spent a short time at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Schwamb.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Wegner and family were dinner guests at the Paul Kuenkel home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. H. McCune of La Crosse spent Sunday at the Oscar Kuenkel home.

The Model Homemakers’ club will meet at the home of Mrs. Ray Winkel Thursday, August 24. All who are interested are invited to attend.

George Boyer and Tony Hemp called on Albert Prill Wednesday.

Mrs. E. Mund returned to her home after being patient at the Madison hospital for some time.

Mrs. Brown and daughter of Owen called at the A. McCune and A. Karnitz homes.

Frank Laken and Frank Bradish spent the latter part of last week at Ottawa, Illinois, where they attended the funeral of Mr. Laken’s mother.

Several from here attended the wedding dance of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kalsow at the Silver Dome Thursday.

Margaret Volovsek is a patient at the Eau Claire Hospital where she had an operation for appendicitis.

Miss Eunice Knapa spent last week at the home of her cousin at Stratford.

Mary Ann Laken spent last week visiting with friends in Eau Claire.

Grieps spent last Sunday on a fishing trip to Chetek.

Dorothy Modersohn spent the weekend at the home of her mother.

John Tolaney spent Sunday evening at the A. Sapiega home.

Jennie Horvat assisted at the Schultz home Wednesday at the wedding of Mary Schiltz and Louis Kabul.

Lawrence Celans and Bernice Kern spent Saturday evening at the John Auman home at Willard.

Frank Van Horn was busy doing some trucking Monday.

Frank Lange and Art McCune called at Prill’s Saturday.
