Mrs. Wolfe has been at Marshfield since Monday caring for her sister, Mrs. Abbott, who is ill with flu. Dr. Abbott drove over after her on Monday.

Chairman A. J. Sparkes returned Tuesday morning from Milwaukee, where he accompanied Ray Russell to the veteran hospital. Mr. Russell will remain at the hospital for a time for observation. Mr. Sparkes met Dr. J. H. Prill, head physician and surgeon of the hospital, who was formerly a Humbird physician. He sent regards to old friends here.

Mr. and Mrs. Alton Stallard came down from Eau Claire Sunday, on account of the illness of Mr. Waters and Mrs. Stallard remained to care for him.
