Washa, Vera (27 NOV 1937)

A very quiet wedding ceremony took place Saturday Nov. 27 at the parsonage of the Methodist Church at Decorah, Iowa, Rev. Arthur Kindred officiating, when Miss Vera Washa became the bride of Ernest Macha.

The young couple are well known here. Miss Washa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Washa, Riplinger, and has been engaged in teaching here for a number of years. The groom has been employed by the Riplinger cheese factory for the past few years. They were attended by the bride’s sister, Lydia Washa, and Thomas Macha of Mabel, Minnesota.

The bride wore a gray traveling suit with wine accessories. The groom wore the conventional black. They are at home to their many friends at Corinth, Iowa, where the groom has been operating a cheese factory since last spring. The many friends of both young people wish them a long and happy married life.
