Karnopp, Esther (5 AUG 1939)

St. John’s Lutheran Church at Riplinger was the setting for the wedding of Miss Esther Karnopp and Frank Pachal, both of the town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.), which was held August 5, 1939 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The Rev. Franklin Albrecht officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Martin Roidt and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pachal, also of the town of Beaver.

A lace-trimmed white satin dress made with sleeves tapering to a point was worn by the bride. Her veil was held in place with a seed pearl headdress and she carried a bouquet of roses, baby breath, and asters. Her maid of honor, Miss Alice Karnopp, was gowned in pink net over satin and wore a wrest corsage of mixed flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Elpha Schuette, was attired in blue net over satin.

The best man was Bernard Raatz, and Joe Roidt also attended the groom.

Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served to about 35 persons at the home of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Pachal are now at home to their friends at the home of the groom’s parents where the groom, a graduate of the Loyal High School with the class of ’29, is engaged in farming.
