Jindra, Harriet (26 APR 1941)

Announcement was made this week of the marriage on April 26, 1941, of cy Buker, coach at the Sevastopol High School and star member of the Sturgeon Bay Eagles basketball team, to Miss Harriet Jindra, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jindra of Sawyer. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)

For the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. H.N. Pfeiffer of the Corpus Christi Church, the bride wore an aqua suit with beige accessories. Her corsage was of sweetheart roses and sweet peas.

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Leitner of Sawyer.

Mr. Buker was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1936, and from the University of Wisconsin in 1940. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and was active in athletics, having pitched for the varsity baseball team for three consecutive years.
