Marden, George (16 DEC 1867 - 17 APR 1942)
George Marden, 74, who came to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), five years ago from Neillsville (Clark Co.), died suddenly Friday noon at the home of his nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Marden. Mr. Marden suffered a stroke about a year ago and several since that time, the last about two weeks ago.
The body will lie in state at the Schiller Funeral Home, Neillsville, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. George W. Longenecker of the Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
Mr. Marden was born in Wisconsin Dec. 16, 1867. His wife died in Neillsville March 22, 1930, and William Marden of Greenwood is a brother of George Marden.
